The secret to excellent brewed coffee is a high brewing temperature. The Melitta One® quickly reaches the optimum water temperature of 92 to 96 °C and maintains this temperature throughout the brewing process – for perfectly tempered and particularly aromatic brewed coffee.
The powerful heating element of the Melitta One® provides a short, optimum brewing time of four to six minutes, thus ensuring a perfectly balanced contact time between the coffee powder and the water. This is important because too long a contact time leads to a bitter taste in the coffee.
The water outlet of the Melitta One® distributes the hot water precisely and evenly in the filter with its nine holes. This way, the coffee is optimally moistened with water, which gives a particularly balanced and full-bodied result.
The Melitta One® has two different brewing modes. If you only want to prepare small quantities (2-5 cups), the coffee flows through more slowly than with larger quantities to provide the ideal taste. This way, you always get an aromatic coffee taste, no matter how much coffee you make.

The brewing technology of the coffee maker has been awarded a seal of approval by the renowned European Coffee Brewing Centre (ECBC) in Oslo. The seal is only awarded to coffee makers that meet the highest European quality standards for coffee preparation. Proven high coffee quality.

The removable filter holder in size 1x4® has an integrated drip stop. This prevents coffee from dripping onto the warming plate when you remove the jug.
In addition to an easy-to-read water indicator, the transparent water tank also has practical LED lighting. This is activated automatically when water is added, making it easier to dose the desired amount of water.
In order for your coffee maker to function properly, provide the best coffee taste and last a long time, it must be descaled regularly. The coffee maker has a practical limescale indicator and an integrated descaling program.
